71:: 20:20 Vision for 2020

Just last week I went to the optometrist to check my eyesight. As it turned out I still have 20:20 vision with my current prescription. Always good to let someone else check.

The very next day I met with a client of mine and we took a look at her current financial model and the workflow process behind it.

I was shocked.

The workbook had multiple sheets with inadequate formulas, was badly designed and lacked the common structure of any good workbook.

So I’ve asked her about transparency, visibility and future vision.

It felt like I was the optometrist now checking her data-sight.

And as it turned out there was clearly now 20:20 vision.

We are going to change this now so that in time for 2020 she’s back to 20:20 vision.

This is not a simple set of new filters on top of the screen. In this case we need to dig deep and re-design, re-create and re-do most of her complex workbook.

The impact for her and her company is a bullet-proof and future-proof system giving her organisation the data it needs to make the right decisions in moving forward.

Maybe you too want to check whether your workbooks are ready for 2020 and whether they are giving you 20:20 vision on your data.

Call me and I am more than happy to have a look at your specific situation and needs.
It’s not free, but worth every cent you invest to have a 2020 ready workflow.
